Online Fortnite Creative Coding Basics || 7/11/2022 – 7/15/2022

During the 5-day Fortnite Creative Coding Principles, students will create 5 mini-games within Fortnite Creative, exploring concepts of event-driven design, variables, functions, loops, and conditional statements. Students will complete each mini-game build, developing an understanding of basics of coding principles. The final activity will allow the students to build their own Fortnite Creative Game by combining several of the coding principles together. Students will also be given the opportunity to explore learning concepts within the Fortnite Creative application. Any participants need to have a gaming console and access to Fortnite (a free to download game) on any of these devices, PlayStation 4 or 5, Xbox One S or Series X, Nintendo Switch, or PC.
