Description
CCA and HU will offer a week-long online camp designed to educate students about aquaponics. Aquaponics is a method of growing plants hydroponically by using wastewater from aquaculture as the source of nutrients. This online camp will include a virtual tour of aquaponic facilities, which serve as a living laboratory. Students will explore biology, plant propagation, water chemistry, and engineering design with guided hands-on activities during synchronous online sessions, using password-protected Zoom rooms.
