If you’re passionate about enhancing the lives of older adults and value a collaborative, purpose-driven work environment, we’d love to have you join our team! Messiah Lifeways® is non-profit organization based in Mechanicsburg, PA that provides a network of services for adults 55 and older living in south central Pennsylvania. Messiah Lifeways offers two residential communities, Messiah Village and Mount Joy Country Homes, as well as a myriad of home and community based services including non-medical home care, adult day services, and two senior centers in Cumberland County. Externship Details
Positions students could be hired for at Messiah Lifeways include:
- Home Care Assistant – $15/hr (must be 18 years or older)
- Nursing Assistant – $16/hr (requires high school diploma)
- Resident Assistant – $15/hr
Externs are eligible to make up to $18/hr. While many roles at Messiah Lifeways require externs to have a high school diploma, be 17 years or older, and/or have a valid drivers license. We still encourage those who do not fit these qualifications to apply for our Resident Assistant role.
